Mark 11:23
23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
A Few years ago I use to tell people that one day I am going to be the mother of SA Rugby. Why do I say stuff like that…I do not even remember where it come from and what it was all about. I however had a dream about having influence in the sports world because if you want to impact a country like South Africa it is not just going to happen on a political level.
Earlier in this year I was approached by the management of the Boland Rugby Academy to facilitate the guidance programme for the Academy. Well, I do have a BPsyc degree, Honours in Sports Psychology as well as a Mental Game Coaching certificate and to top it all, I just moved back to Wellington. This felt like a set-up by God…
I met with the management of Boland one week after being back from Peru. I said yes because it sounded like a good deal, however the significance of what I just said yes to dawned on me the moment the coach said: “Welcome on board, you are now officially the mother of Boland Rugby”. I then realised that this was a spoken dream come true.
Today I am heading off with the team to George. This is my first rugby tour and I am very excited.
Proverbs 18:21
21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Do not keep your dreams to yourself. Make them known in faith and declare them with boldness. God knows the desires of our hearts and He wants to fulfil them.
